Our Objectives
- To develop the subspecialty field of geriatric surgery and to promote its awareness to a high standard and good standing in Singapore
- To promote collaboration between different disciplines in the field of geriatric surgery
- To undertake continuing education in geriatric surgery at all levels of medical practice by means of conferences, seminars, and workshops
- To encourage research in the field of geriatric surgery
- To establish close working relationships with government and non-government agencies involved in activities and programmes for the aged or geriatric population
- To foster close ties and collaborations with Geriatric Surgery Societies and Associations of other countries
